Thetford Grammar School

Thetford Grammar School's all-through model links early years, prep, senior teaching and sixth-form study across a co-educational route from age 3 to 19. Two sites, nearby playing fields and a boarding house elsewhere in the town give the school a distributed character, while day and residential pupils remain part of one long educational journey.

At the 4 December 2025 progress-monitoring visit, all relevant Standards considered were met. Safeguarding covered early years, the main school and boarding; the boarding-house repairs had been completed in summer 2025; and accommodation, medical provision and arrangements for boarders to prepare food safely were suitable.

Health and safety documentation, centrally monitored risk assessments and proprietor oversight had been strengthened. One boarding house accommodates male and female pupils. No online prospectus is available, so admissions and fees need direct confirmation; the age range, day and boarding model, and sixth-form provision are nevertheless clear.
