Southbank International School Westminster

An International Baccalaureate journey gives Southbank International School Westminster its distinctive shape. The Middle Years Programme runs from ages 11 to 16, followed by the Diploma Programme for ages 16 to 18 at Conway Street and Cleveland Street. The group is also introducing the IB Career-related Programme with Savannah College of Art and Design, adding an applied route alongside the Diploma.

The Westminster community brings together pupils from 70 nationalities, with more than 20 languages taught across the programme. Small classes and a substantial extra-curricular offer accompany an approach centred on critical thinking, curiosity and solving complex problems. The result is an internationally minded secondary and sixth-form education with a clear academic framework.

This record belongs to the Westminster provision within Southbank's wider organisation, rather than to its Hampstead or Kensington campuses. The three Westminster locations are Portland Place, Conway Street and Cleveland Street; the registered age range is 11 to 18, with no boarding and a sixth form. Keeping those campus boundaries clear helps explain how the IB stages fit together.

Entry is non-selective and rolling, subject to availability. Applications are considered by the admissions committee after the required references and application fee are received. An applicant may be offered an available place or added to the waiting list, so timing and capacity remain part of the admissions picture.
