South Park Enterprise College (11-19)

Re-engagement and practical transition sit at the heart of South Park Enterprise College's offer. The provision is for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs; many are described as having autism or ADHD, and most hold an Education, Health and Care Plan. Academic study is combined with vocational learning for pupils whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.

The specialist offer currently described for South Park is for ages 11 to 16, while the registered age range is 11 to 19. That distinction matters: the wider registration includes a sixth form and no boarding, but the day-to-day account is focused on secondary-age pupils. South Park is part of Keys' specialist education provision, with a broad curriculum shaped around individual re-engagement.

As pupils approach 16, vocational work at the Enterprise Centre supports preparation for further study, apprenticeships or local employment. The emphasis is therefore on rebuilding engagement while making the next step more tangible. Academic subjects and practical experience sit together, giving the provision a different rhythm from a conventional all-through secondary route.
