A history reaching back to 1788 leads into the present-day Royal Masonic School for Girls, whose Rickmansworth Park setting has been home since 1934. In February 2026 it had 880 pupils, including 70 boarders, across nursery, prep, senior and Sixth Form sections. That combination gives the institution a long institutional memory and a clearly staged girls' education.
The curriculum broadens as pupils move through the phases. Senior pupils take English, mathematics and science alongside GCSE choices such as computer science, astronomy and health and social care. Sixth Form routes include A levels, the Extended Project Qualification and a professional cookery qualification, creating room for both academic and vocational interests.
