Reading, vocabulary, writing and oracy are treated as foundations across the curriculum at Read Academy Education. Starting in 2013 with two year groups, it has grown into an all-through community from Early Years to age 16. Islamic faith education runs through this day-school model, giving the academy an academic and religious identity from the earliest phase onwards.
Key Stages 3 and 4 combine the National Curriculum with Islamic education in a knowledge-rich, literacy-driven programme. Qur'aan, Hadith, Seerah and Islamic manners are part of Key Stage 3.
