A Palladian building and 40 acres of parkland give Queen Mary's School a strong physical setting at Baldersby Park. The all-girls community serves ages 2 to 16 through the senior years to Year 11, with day places joined by full, weekly and flexi boarding. There is no Sixth Form, so the senior route ends at Year 11.
Senior curriculum planning is bespoke, with personal tutoring, academic challenge and support for independence. Years 7 to 9 and GCSE study sit alongside science laboratories and specialist creative and sports facilities. Boarders and day girls share one community, while riding, music, drama, debating, sport and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award widen life beyond lessons.
Entry is non-selective: girls usually do not sit an entrance examination, and an offer follows consideration of registration and reference. Visits, Experience Days and an optional boarding sleepover let families see lessons, activities and residential life before deciding.
