OMG Education

OMG Education is a specialist route back into study for young people who have been excluded from mainstream education or have struggled to find a workable place within it. Small classes, individual support and a flexible curriculum are used to reconnect pupils with learning. The mixed setting takes learners from 11 through the sixth-form years, with referrals and rolling admissions forming part of the route into its central London provision.

Music gives the curriculum much of its shape. Music technology, English, mathematics, physical education and vocational learning are taught alongside practical opportunities to make and perform, with a recording studio and DJ decks available for that work. For pupils who have found fixed classroom routines difficult, the combination of creative production and focused teaching offers a more tangible way to build subject knowledge and engagement.

The provision is also intended to respond to uneven starting points, including the needs of pupils with an EHCP. Teaching is individualised and the programme can adjust as pupils develop, rather than assuming that every learner will move through the same sequence at the same pace. It is a specialist day setting rather than a boarding school, and the sixth form extends the same emphasis on flexible progression into the older years.

An emergency inspection in June 2026 found that the required standards were met, while curriculum breadth and the sequencing of topics were still developing. That combination matters to the character of OMG Education: it is a focused setting with a clear creative identity and a practical route back into education, but one whose provision is continuing to mature as its 11-to-18 model develops.
