Overview

Olive High Boys joins academic progress to the formation of confident, compassionate Muslim gentlemen. The boys’ provision covers ages 11 to 16 and has no sixth form or boarding, giving it a focused secondary structure. Its character language is condensed into the OLIVE model: outstanding character, love for others, integrity, vision and empathy.

The 20-lesson Key Stage 3 week combines English, mathematics, science, history, geography, computing, religious studies, PE, art, Urdu and PSHE, with particular weight given to literacy, oracy and reading. At Key Stage 4, English, mathematics and combined science sit alongside humanities, computing, religious studies, Arabic, Urdu, citizenship and PE. A dual-pathway structure and GCSE support help pupils move from the common core into more specialised study.

Pastoral work is deliberately personal. Form tutors and a Pastoral Welfare Officer follow academic, social and emotional progress, while form-time PSHE and an open-door support route give pupils a regular place to raise concerns. Sport, enrichment and careers education extend the character curriculum, and the Islamic environment remains part of daily life. Entry is handled directly through its application process.

Places and demand
Published Year 7 place numbers and applicant-per-place data are not included in GIAS for this private-school seed profile.
Catchment
Private-school eligibility is not controlled by the local-authority grammar catchment model; check boarding, day-pupil, transport and any sibling or faith rules on the school site.
Results
Independent-school performance data is patchier in official releases, so GCSE and A-level comparisons should be checked against the school's published results.
