At a glance
Founded in 1979, Oakhill School brings nursery, prep and senior education together on one site, with a co-educational day-school route from three months to 16. Catholic values, respect and inclusivity shape the ethos, while families of all faiths and backgrounds are welcomed. The result is a continuous setting in which the senior years remain connected to the younger stages.
The Senior School covers Years 7 to 11. Its GCSE core includes English Language and Literature, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and religious education, with further choices in languages, humanities, computer science, business, art, music and creative iMedia. Academic and creative subjects are treated as parts of one senior curriculum rather than competing directions.
The wider programme ranges from football, running club, golf, dodgeball, multi-sports and fitness to performing arts rehearsals, art club, Samba drumming, drama and music ensembles. Computing, maths and English clinics, Science Clinics, Eco Club, wellbeing walks, book club and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award add further routes into practice, curiosity and community. Trips and visits extend the curriculum beyond the site.
Admissions begin with an enquiry or visit and a personal tour arranged by the admissions team. Applications are accepted through the year when places are available. Oakhill has no boarding or Sixth Form offer, so the senior route ends at 16 within the wider nursery-to-senior community.
