Me'or High School

Me'or High School opened as a new provision in February 2021 and has developed a Beis Yaakov identity for girls aged 11 to 16. Kodesh and Chol are given equal weight, with Torah, Halacha and Hadracha providing the religious framework. The formal capacity is 110 pupils, with 59 recorded in January 2026, and there is no boarding.

The educational model connects Jewish and secular learning rather than placing them in separate worlds. Its stated aims include curiosity, independent thought and individual development, while emotional safety is part of the ethos. That combination gives the curriculum a clear Beis Yaakov character and makes the relationship between religious study, general subjects and pupil wellbeing central to the experience.

In July 2025, Me'or High School was judged Good and the independent-school standards were met. The curriculum was broad and ambitious, and pupils showed positive attitudes to learning. A small number of subjects still had inconsistent curriculum definition, and support for pupils with SEND was variable, although safeguarding was effective. Those qualifications belong alongside the positive overall judgement.

The admissions material sets out a Year 7 route for September 2026 and separately labels a Sixth Form application route. That post-16 route sits beside the formal 11-to-16, no-Sixth-Form registration, and the relationship between the two is not explained. The summer 2024 results claim that 77% of Year 10 girls achieved grades 7 to 9 in Modern Hebrew GCSE and 70% did so in Art.
