Founded in March 1850, Loughborough High School is part of the Loughborough Schools Foundation and continues a long tradition of girls' education. Its principal route is day education from 11 to 18. Boarding is a narrower offer linked to the Loughborough University National Tennis Academy, with other requests considered by agreement.
The academic programme moves from lower school through GCSEs to Sixth Form. Key Stage 4 combines English, mathematics, separate sciences, PE and PSHCE with choices across languages, humanities, arts, sport and technology.
