Latymer Upper School and Latymer Prep

Latymer Upper School and Latymer Prep form a co-educational, academically selective day-school foundation in Hammersmith, west London. The foundation dates back to 1624, and the canonical record covers ages 7 to 19 at the King Street site. Prep and Upper are presented together as one community, with entry spanning primary years, senior school and Sixth Form. There is no boarding provision.

The Upper School combines demanding academic study with personal growth. Sixth Form pupils normally take three A Levels, with an optional fourth A Level, AS Level or EPQ. The Latymer Diploma adds Knowledge and Research Skills, Life Skills, a personal research project, a service placement and more than 30 ten-week electives. The profile lists more than 100 clubs and societies, over 100 coached sports teams, a Thames-side boathouse and music and drama.

Admissions are organised around separate routes for joining at 11+ and entering Sixth Form, alongside prep-school entry points. Latymer's academic profile says around 20% of students receive financial aid, with merit-based scholarships in academics, sport, music, art and drama. Peer mentoring, the BOUNCE wellbeing programme, student committees and local-school partnerships give the non-boarding foundation a civic and pastoral dimension.
