Accelerated Christian Education gives King of Kings its distinctive academic shape. The mixed, non-denominational Christian school serves children from the early years to Sixth Form in Salford, with Christian teaching and leadership preparation woven through daily life. It moved to St Luke's Parish Hall on Derby Road in November 2023 and has no boarding.
Students work through individualised, non-graded PACEs at a level that can vary by subject. Core study includes mathematics, English grammar and literature, social studies, science, word building and Biblical Studies, with French, Latin, German, Spanish, Greek, design technology, art, cookery and computing among the options. Older students work towards the International Certificate of Christian Education as their route towards further study, work and university.
The Learning Centre gives the model a physical rhythm: each student has an individual workspace, follows a diagnosed programme, sets targets and calls for help when needed. Quiet morning study gives way to practical lessons, investigations, group work and computer activity, with assemblies, devotionals and weekly Scripture or Chapel lessons. Entry uses reading-readiness or diagnostic testing rather than age alone. Fees cover teaching, core and complementary activities and most materials; trips and the European Student Convention may cost extra.
GIAS confirms the school type and age range; fees, scholarships, bursaries and entrance assessments should be checked on the school's own website.
Independent schools do not use the local-authority grammar-school catchment model; check the school site for boarding, transport and eligibility rules.
Use the official admissions policy for the current priority order and eligibility rules.
Entrance assessment details are not part of the GIAS open data extract.
