Jefferson House works with up to six boys aged 11 to 18 who may have experienced exploitation and have special educational needs, including complex needs. The full-time therapeutic model begins with each pupil's academic and emotional starting point rather than a standard year-group timetable. It includes a sixth form and no boarding, making its very small scale integral to the provision.

Transition and well-being support are built into the work of moving towards a next setting or stage rather than left to the end of a placement.
