Francis Holland School began in 1881 and moved to Sloane Square in October 1884 as numbers grew. The foundation began on Coleshill Street, later renamed Eaton Terrace. The Sloane Square girls' day school has no boarding and is distinct from Francis Holland Regent's Park; its own route continues into Sixth Form rather than merging the two establishments.
Senior study combines a core with subject choice: modern languages, humanities, Computer Science and Classics sit beside Art, Music and Drama. Sixth Form students normally take three A Levels and can add an Elective Course, the EPQ, and the Westmacott and Futures programmes. Small classes, subject choice and research shape the later stage.
SPARK contains more than 100 clubs and societies across sport, religion and philosophy, arts, skills and knowledge. Productions, choirs, orchestras, more than 25 sports, residential trips and enterprise projects give that structure practical expression. The 11+ and 16+ routes use open events, registration and applications, with Sloane Square and Regent's Park retaining separate identities throughout the process.
