Farnborough Hill grew from the Religious of Christian Education and is now held in a lay-managed trust. Its Roman Catholic girls' education runs from 11 to 18, with science, sport, music and sixth-form facilities gathered on one day-school campus. Faith and service are therefore woven into a programme with a distinctly academic sixth-form focus.
Sixth Form study centres on three A levels, chosen from English, mathematics, sciences, modern languages, classics, computing, economics, politics, drama, music and physical education. Tutorial-style classes support a move towards independent work, while a super-curriculum and leadership activities add scope beyond the three subjects.
Sport, music, drama, art and design technology have dedicated facilities, giving each a visible place in the week. There is no boarding.
