Core Training and Development limited

Reintegration shapes Core Training and Development's work with pupils whose mainstream places are at risk. Its Leeds provision is a structured alternative setting focused on emotional wellbeing, personal development and re-engagement. Most pupils are referred by a home setting and remain dual registered there, so this route stays connected to an existing education journey rather than following a conventional open-entry timetable.

The registered provision serves ages 8 to 16. Key Stage 3 and 4 work includes English, mathematics, science and creative arts, with AQA Activate science alongside music, art, drama and a garden project. The curriculum has an intentionally practical and responsive feel, linking subject learning to the work of rebuilding confidence and engagement.

The wider organisation works across Leeds and Barnsley, but the registered provision is the Leeds centre at Networks House. Keeping those two levels distinct matters: a family may encounter the broader organisation while placement, staffing and education remain tied to the Leeds setting and its referral arrangements.

There is no standard independent-school application timetable. A placement enquiry is made through the organisation and usually involves the child's existing school or local authority. The practical questions are referral responsibility, dual-registration arrangements, the starting plan and how the provision will support a return to a mainstream setting when that is appropriate.
