Beech Hall began in 1926 as a preparatory boarding school for boys, later becoming co-educational and adding a nursery. Its more-than-sixteen-acre Tytherington setting combines a Victorian main building and listed buildings with playing fields and a swimming pool. Since January 2025 it has been part of Blenheim Schools within Outcomes First Group, adding a new chapter to that history.
Boys and girls aged 5 to 18 move through junior, senior and sixth-form stages on a non-selective route. GCSE study spans sciences, languages, computing, drama, film and media, while the recently introduced sixth form includes A levels and a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport. The structure keeps academic and vocational post-16 choices within the same through-school community.
The school day is supported by sport, academic, creative and wellbeing activities from Reception to Year 11. Swimming, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, support lessons, trips and residentials extend the programme, with visits to museums, galleries and historical sites. Lessons run from 8.30am to 4pm, and wraparound care stretches from 7.30am to 6pm.
Admission is direct and follows an enquiry, tour or open day, registration and taster day. Prospective pupils spend time with classmates and teachers, and there is no entrance examination. Beech Hall is all-ability; the offer follows the taster-day and administrative process. Places, fees and assessment dates are not stated here.
