Your purchase

Each full-paper purchase includes one timed sitting and one practice retry of the same questions for one child. The price, currency and access period appear before payment. This is a one-off payment, separate from Hub Pro. The access period starts when payment is confirmed.

Your parent account owns the purchase. If you buy without choosing a child, the paper is assigned when you first start it. Once assigned, it cannot be shared between children. The same SET paper appears from several participating school pages; buy each paper once for the intended child.

Immediate access and cancellation

Before payment, we ask you to request immediate supply of the digital paper and acknowledge that the statutory cooling-off right for digital content may end when supply begins with your consent. This does not affect rights for faulty, misdescribed or undelivered content, or any cancellation rights that continue to apply to the service.

As an additional Hub policy, contact us within 14 days of payment for a full refund if neither sitting has started. Please include the order number from your mock exam library. You can use this wording: “I would like to cancel my mock exam order [order number], purchased on [date]. My account email is [email].”

Email support@grammarschoolhub.co.uk for a cancellation, duplicate purchase or technical problem. Do not send card details. A refund is returned through the original payment method. A full refund removes access to unused or unfinished sittings; completed results remain in your account unless you request removal.

Before starting

Try the free sampler to check the device, text and controls. Use a current browser with JavaScript and a stable internet connection; a laptop or tablet is recommended. No installation is needed. The papers are in English and use multiple-choice answers.

Creating a sitting does not start its clock. Each paper starts when your child selects Start. The clock continues if the page is closed, the tab is hidden or the connection fails. Only answers confirmed as saved before the server deadline count. The untimed break between papers does not pause a paper that has started.

If a Hub fault prevents a fair sitting, contact support with the attempt number and what happened. We can investigate, provide an appropriate replacement or refund, and preserve the support record. An expired paper cannot be reopened by changing the device clock.

Practice content and results

Questions and passages are original, created with AI assistance and checked through recorded editorial and technical review. They are not copied official papers. We do not claim independent teacher certification or statistical calibration unless it is explicitly documented for a later version.

Published official guidance informs the stated route and stage. The standard full papers use 50-minute limits within the published range. The shorter sampler and optional extra practice time are separate Hub choices, as are question counts, difficulty and exact-set marking. For a question with several correct options, all correct options and no incorrect options are required for the mark. Blank answers earn zero. Every paper explains its own rules before the clock starts.

The official Sutton guidance describes partial credit for select-all English questions without publishing its complete scoring formula. Our select-all questions use the exact-set rule above, so these marks are not directly comparable with official marks.

Results are raw marks on this paper, with topic denominators and answer explanations. They are not official standardised scores, national percentiles, pass predictions or admission guarantees. Retry results use familiar questions and must not be treated as a fresh benchmark. The Hub is independent of schools, consortiums and exam boards.

Access and privacy

The timed learner view signs the parent out on the current device and uses a limited session for that sitting. Your child should know that their parent can see their answers and results. Keep account passwords and payment details with the parent.

Do not copy, resell, publicly share or upload the papers and answer keys to another service. Parents may review purchased papers with their own child. We store the exact paper version used for each sitting so later content updates do not silently change a saved result.
